Konopiste Castle is the former property of Franz Ferdinand D´Este, the successor to the Austria-Hungarian throne, where he spent the happiest moments of his life with his family. We will take a gentle climb up the castle hill along a lake followed by an interior visit of this richly furnished castle. Hunting trophies are hung everywhere making us realize how strong his passion for hunting must have been. It is possible to visit his private chambers on special request with limited numbers.
